Consul General Huang Ping Met with Susan Elliott, President of the National Committee on American Foreign Policy

On March 1st, Consul General Huang Ping visited the National Committee on American Foreign Policy and met with Susan Elliott, President of the NCAFP, and Donald Zagoria, Senior Vice President of the NCAFP, exchanging views on China-US relations and other issues with them.

Huang Ping said, after four decades' development, China-US relations have become one of the most important bilateral relations in the world. It not only serves the well-being of the people of the two countries but also has an important role on global prosperity and stability. The National Committee on American Foreign Policy is a think tank of great international reputation. We hope that the committee could continue to support the development of China-US relations, to provide platforms for exchanges between scholars of the two countries, to enhance mutual trust between the two peoples, and to make a greater contribution to the development of China-US relations in the future.

President Elliott indicated that China-US relations are always a focus of the committee's research. They would like to assist in organizing dialogues between scholars of the two countries on issues of common concern and to offer suggestions to expand cooperation and resolve differences between the two countries.
